Good prayer night

I am fully aware of my how fast my kiddos are growing up but there are certain moments are just real eye openers.

Last night as Banana said his prayers and out of the blue he said,"Lord please help me never to disgrace you and always to honor you" I was just getting over the shock of that grown up prayer when Carrot started her prayer and pulled a "Please help me to EMBRACE first grade". WHAT!

I was still enjoying that moment when Banana told me I was the best mom ever and thanked me for all the hard work I do for him.

I told him I hoped he always wanted to snuggle in bed with me, even when he was older and he said "Oh don't worry mom I will.  When I'm a teenager I will still want to.  I may need to go to a party every once in a while but will want to snuggle the other nights."

  As we were going to bed J said, "We have great kids they are better then I ever imagined they would be" - I couldn't agree more.
